Autumn in Latvia comes not only with pumpkins and spooky decorations, but also with the opportunity to remove very real “ghosts” from homes – old and worn-out electrical equipment, which often takes up space in homes, sheds and garages for years. The “Electric Ghosts” campaign organized by the “Zaļā Josta” will take place throughout November, during which you can hand over your unnecessary electrical equipment for recycling in special “BAO” containers at Lidl stores. In addition, by participating in this campaign, you can win great prizes from our cooperation partner “Lidl”!
You can bring electrical equipment to the collection points every Saturday in November, from 09:00 to 15:00.
The promotion is only available at “Lidl” stores in the locations listed.
Participate in the competition! Create your own electric ghost, take it to the collection point on one of the Saturdays, put it in a container, take a picture of it and post it on the “Zaļā Josta” Facebook competition post.

How to create your own electric ghost and participate in the competition?
Create your own electric ghost – use a used household appliance, add an eye, hat or teeth to make it look creative and impressive. Take your ghost to one of the “BAO” free drop-off points at “Lidl” stores during the campaign. Take a photo of your electric ghost at the drop-off point – this will be your proof of participation. Share the photo in a Facebook comment under the specific date and location post and add the hashtag #elektrospoki The 10 best and most original electric ghosts will be awarded each Saturday.
